What is Striort?
Striort, a new generation treatment method originating from Brazil, is a stretch mark treatment that can reduce skin stretch marks up to 80% with a single session. The treatment, which is based on the basis of revitalising the collagen contained in body stretch marks, which are defined as skin tears, with an ambiomolecular system, does not involve needles, incisions or laser.
A special vacuum system is used in the invasive and non-surgical method of stretch mark treatment. Striort is a stretch mark repair method that has achieved more than 250 thousand successful results in Latin America.
Causes of body stretch marks
A healthy skin has a fibre porous network structure containing 4% elastin and 80% collagen proteins. Various factors can wear out elastin fibres that allow the skin to stretch without damage. Elastin bonds that are damaged and lose their quality cause red or white skin tears on the skin. This type of skin tears are called stretch marks.
The main factors causing the formation of stretch marks are birth control pills, hormones, insufficient water and moisture content of the body, rapid weight gain and loss, pregnancy, rapid growth and local steroid creams. Considering the causes of the regional stretch mark problem that both women and men may be exposed to, it may be wondered why some people do not encounter it. The reason for this situation is that everyone’s skin structure is different, genetic and metabolic characteristics are different.
How is stretch mark treatment applied?
The new generation stretch mark repair method striort is applied with special solutions that accelerate blood flow and a vacuum barometer device called Fibroderms, specially designed for treatment. Special solutions are applied to the patient’s cracks and 25 minutes are waited for the blood flow to accelerate. After the waiting period, the vacuum bar is moved over the skin tears with back and forth movements in the direction of the tear.
The treatment is based on the principle of stimulating elastin and collagen proteins with the help of special solutions and improving the appearance of the tear with controlled damage to the skin tear. The application period lasts 2-2,5 hours in total.
Redness and bruising caused by the procedure heals within 2-3 days. Striort, which is an extremely safe and harmless method, does not cause side effects such as crusting or staining on the skin after the procedure.
Although it varies depending on the duration of the skin tear in the area, skin type and skin structure, the treatment, which has a success rate between 30%-80% with a single session, is applied for a maximum of 3 sessions. In patients who need more than one session, the session application interval is organised as 1 session per month.
Daily routines can be continued after the procedure, which is very comfortable for the patient. Although the cabin application provides half of the success of the procedure, in order to get full results, follow-up products suitable for home application should be used as recommended.
To whom is Sitriort not applicable?
Striort treatment cannot be applied during pregnancy and breastfeeding periods, menstrual periods of women, periods of use of Roaccutane and similar drugs, in cases where a surgical procedure has recently been performed in the area where the application should be performed.
