Hair transplant is transplantation of hair roots collected from the back of the head to completely bold areas or areas with low hair density. Everyone dreams of health, dense and striking hair. Hair loss and baldness is the nightmare of everyone regardless of gender. Therefore, both women and men experiencing androgynous hair loss can end this problem permanently with hair transplant. Transplant is made with FUE, DHI or Perkutan techniques.
DHI technique in hair transplant
DHI hair transplant technique started in 2016 and since there is no need for shaving, this method is commonly preferred. DHI hair transplant is a method where quality hair roots collected from donor region are transplanted to recipient area with special pens. Since canal opening and root placement can simultaneously be completed with medical apparatus that looks like pen to place grafts in DHI method, roots can be transplanted in short time. DHI hair transplant procedure is completed under local anaesthesia and this procedure starts by collecting hair roots with special tool. These grafts have tissue while collecting, these grafts are subjected to separating process and transplanted to recipient area with special medical pens.
FUE technique in hair transplant
FUE (follicular unit extraction) procedure starts by shaving the hair. After applying local anaesthesia to patient, hair roots collected from the back of the head with punches are placed to transplant area. In FUE method, hair transplant application is made with special needles called punch. Since the patient is under anaesthesia, patient does not feel any pain during procedure. This method is applied on individuals with sparse hair or complete hair loss and it is also an ideal technique for hair loss due to injuries and burns.
Percutan technique in hair transplant
Percutan technique is a special hair transplant technique applied in limited number of clinics around the world. In percutan hair transplant technique, straight cuts are not made. Hair roots are places inside round holes with the size of hair root. Percutan technique is an advanced hair transplant with fast recovery and produces natural look. Since less solution is used compared to other hair transplant techniques, oedema is less compared to other techniques. Compared to other techniques, this method is more challenging for practitioner and requires more attention. 4500-6000 grafts can be transplanted in single session.
