3D microblading is hair and eye brow intensification procedure that is applied manually with mineral dyes. In this method, mineral dyes prepared in special machine are applied to hair loss areas or areas that are not suitable for hair transplant as well as to eye brow area that needs a better shape, structure or volume. Dyes are applied under the skin with single use needle and natural hair look is given to application area. This technique is semi-permanent and it has minimum 2-3 years of permanence depending on cell regeneration speed of the patient. This procedure approximately takes 40 minutes.
It is appropriate to say that this application is semi-permanent. Because regardless of skin type, special mineral dyes will lose the vivid look as the skin cells regenerate. Permanence of this application will be shorter if the patient does not avoid sun, sunbath for a long time without protection or goes to solarium.
If expert recommendations are applied, this operation can be permanent up to 3 years.
Hair technique and classical permanent make-up differs in 4 ways. These two operations have differences for visual, technique, pigments and needles as well as level of permanence depending on skin type of the patient.
Visual difference: Design with hair technique are natural and specific to individuals. Since classical method is applied with a tool rather than manually, almost all designs look like each other. This causes unnatural and fabricated look.
Technique difference: Hair technique depends on experience of the expert. Because this technique is applied with needles. In classical method, tools are used.
Pigment difference: Pigments in 3D microblading (mineral dyes) are more intense that pigments used in classical systems. Additionally, since these dyes can be mixed and used, colour alternative that best suits hair and eye colour of the individual can be achieved.
