What is hair simulation?

Hair simulation application is imitation of hair root with special dyes when the hair density decreases. This procedure ensures aesthetic look for regional hair loss due to skin diseases such as alopecia or other traumas.  Also, this technique is the most ideal one to fill the small gaps on scalp after hair transplant. Hair simulation provides aesthetic look for injuries and surgery scars but this method cannot be applied to pregnant women and individuals with diabetes, cancer and anaemia.

Can hair simulation be an alternative to hair transplant?

Important details in hair simulation

Dye used in this procedure has no negative effects on health. But, patients are asked to have allergy test.

Before this procedure, local anaesthesia is applied to application area.

Hair simulation method is non-surgical and this method is applied by experts in sterile environment by using special needles.

There can be mild swelling in the first couple of days. Crusting can occur in the first week. Patients should avoid touching this crusting.

Application area should be kept away from water contact for 3 days to prevent infection risk.

Patients should avoid sauna and solarium for 1 month after the procedure.

Patients should avoid dying their hair for 1 month.

This application is made on epidermis layer and it is permanent for 3 years.
