Carbon Peeling is a method used in skin lightening, removal of color differences, pore tightening, skin oily irregularities, spot problems, superficial wrinkles and anti-aging treatments.
The procedure, which has the ability to eliminate many skin problems with the help of a combination of carbon mask and high laser pulses, also allows superficial wrinkles to be eliminated.
How is Carbon Peeling done?
A carbon mask is applied to the application area to ensure that the laser pulses are effective and to create the necessary energy on the skin. After the mask covering the skin in a thin layer dries, they are exposed to high-energy (ND-yag laser) laser pulses.
Carbon particles interacting with the laser pulses penetrate under the skin and disperse. Thus, by combining the healing effect of carbon and the properties of laser beams to accelerate healing by creating a certain level of destruction, collagen increase in cells is triggered and the skin is given elasticity.
Carbon Peeling can be applied in all seasons
As it is known, some medical skin care and treatment applications interact with the sun and cause skin blemishes. Carbon peeling, which can be applied in all seasons, is not one of the applications that trigger the risk of spot formation.
The number of sessions and regularity of the application varies depending on the skin problem it is applied for. Sessions are usually applied at intervals of 1-2 weeks, but if it is applied for skin blemishes called “melasma”, which develops due to hormonal effects, it is applied at longer intervals. The number of sessions may vary between 4-10 sessions.
The effects of treatment start to be observed in the 3rd month
The procedure, which provides a noticeable brightening and balancing on the skin even after the first session, starts to reach its final result from the 3rd month as a result of regular application. By the 6th month, the results of the treatment, which are completely clear, are permanent for 1.5 years.
Carbon Peeling is a treatment method that can be applied to anyone who does not have an allergic reaction and has no harm in having laser applications. After the treatment, which does not cause any serious side effects, slight pinking of the skin may be observed. The pink application area returns to normal spontaneously within a few hours. In exceptional cases, especially in patients with urticaria, temporary edema may occur after application. Rarely occurring edema disappears after 1 hour.
